Where?

Dormy House is on Buckle Street at the top of Willersey Hill, the highest point of Farncombe Estate. We are just off the A44 between Broadway and Moreton-in-Marsh– look for the Saintbury turn-off opposite Broadway Tower. Follow this road as it bends to the right and you’ll encounter a fork – Buckle Street is the left-hand branch. You’ll see the Dormy House sign directly ahead of you on the left hand side.

Dormy House is an hour’s drive from Birmingham Airport and 1.5 hours by train (to Moreton-in-Marsh station) from London Paddington.

From the north

Dormy is about 21.5 miles from the M5 Junction 6. Drive south on the A4538 for two miles and pick up the A44 south, signposted to Evesham. After about 10 minutes, bypass Evesham on the A46, following signs for Oxford. After three minutes, turn left on the A44 at the roundabout, following signs to Oxford and Broadway Tower. At the top of the steep hill (Fish Hill), look out for the Saintbury turning on the left and follow the directions above.

From the south

Dormy is a 45-mile drive from the M40 Junction 8. Drive towards Oxford/Cheltenham on the A40, bypass Oxford and follow signs towards Evesham and Woodstock. Take the third exit at the roundabout onto the North Way, A40. About four minutes later, at the big Wolvercote roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A44, signposted Woodstock.

Follow the A44 for about 35 minutes, through Woodstock and Chipping Norton, arriving in Moreton-in-Marsh. At the mini-roundabout, turn left onto Moreton High Street and at the next roundabout turn right onto the A44, following signs to Evesham and Broadway. Follow the A44 for seven miles, look out for the Saintbury turning on the right, and follow the directions above.
