At Dormy House we are passionate about food, friends and fun. This is why we have decided to run some special events for you in 2014. All events are held in our Garden Room restaurant unless otherwise mentioned.
A LITERARY LUNCH – 6th MAY (In association with Chipping Campden Literature Festival)
Tickets £25 – starts at 12.30pm
Kate Williams presents Josephine: Ambition, Desire, Napoleon: a searing story of sexual obsession, war, heartbreak, affairs, devastating love, plots and murder and politics.
Kate Williams, TV historian and author, fell in love with the 18th century while studying for her BA at Oxford. Her books include England’s Mistress (The Times Book of the Year, 2005) Becoming Queen (2008) and Young Elizabeth: The Making of Our Queen (2012). She has appeared regularly on BBC and Channel 4, including food history for The Great British Bake Off and commentaries for the recent royal wedding.
After her talk, Kate joins us for lunch in The Garden Room: two courses and coffee with a glass of wine.
Book into any listed special event in The Garden Room, and stay over at a special B&B rate – £150 per room or £250 per suite.
