The Nook’s party-ready kitchen is packed with all the mod cons you can imagine – a bespoke kitchen diner with twin ovens, twin dishwashers and an American-style fridge freezer.

The large dining area is perfect for entertaining and meals with bi-folding doors, leading to the patio area and hot tub.

Lounge with surround-sound TV

The Nook’s spacious lounge is styled with vintage Danish furniture, with large comfy sofas and armchairs, centred around a cosy wood-burning stove and surround sound TV, making it ideal for hosting a games night, a movie night in or catching up with friends and family.
Plus, if you have to put in a little office time or admin, there’s a convenient desk tucked away in the corner.

Music Room and games

When you’re ready to rock ‘n’ roll, the music room at The Nook is a haven for party-goers. Complete with a large vinyl collection and an entertainment system that can play both vinyl and Spotify, you can dance the night away under the glittering disco ball. For those who prefer to make their own music, the room is equipped with a drum kit, guitars, bongos and more!

And if you’re looking to play games, check the cupboard under the stairs – it’s full of them!

Premium entertainment systems

Why limit the party to one room? At The Nook, you can keep the music going throughout the whole house with a premium entertainment system in the lounge and kitchen. Equipped with a tablet, you can easily connect to Spotify or link your own devices via Bluetooth to the speaker system throughout the property.

Plus, with The Nook’s free Wifi and TVs with Chromecast throughout the house, including every bedroom, you won’t have to miss your favourite streaming services.

Outdoors

The Nook features a private terrace area, with views across the open countryside. With garden furniture to relax on, a Weber BBQ and a six-man hot tub, the terrace is the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the scenery.

The Nook has a private driveway with parking for several vehicles.

The Nook features three en-suite bedrooms.

3x double en suite rooms: Each suitable for two adults.

Rooms include: Bathroom towels, hot tub towels and robes.

Cots: On request, we can add cots to Orka x1 or Fika x1.

Additional beds: A sofa bed is available downstairs, additional Z-beds can be added on request.

On arrival, our welcome hamper includes: Bread, butter, eggs, biscuits, cake, milk and rapeseed oil.

The essentials

All our Hillside Hangout properties include the essentials for your stay, including kitchen roll, bin bags, washing up liquid, anti-bacterial spray, j-cloths, scourer, sponge, salt and pepper, tea, sugar, cafetiere coffee, toilet paper, tissues, kitchen foil, dishwasher tablets, dishwasher salt, rinse aid, washing capsules and hand soap. Bathroom towels, hot tub towels and robes.

Guest Access

Guests will have full use of the house, garden and its facilities.

Dogs £30: Price per dog per night for your stay. Includes dog bed, bowls and poo bags. Dogs must be aged over one (1) year. Maximum two dogs allowed.

Cots: They are free and are available upon request, bed linen is included. Two cots are available.

Additional bed £40: Price per night per additional single Z-bed (2) or use of the sofa bed. The price includes bed linen.
